What is online English Listening Practice?
Do you find it difficult to understand people talking in English? Online English Listening Practice is designed for people who want to improve their English Listening skills to help them understand more. It includes a wide variety of typical transactional and everyday conversations, as well as monologues or discussions about different interesting topics. The listening tasks are carefully structured at each level to help you listen for the important and relevant information. The result is that your listening will improve and will feel much more confident about your listening skills.
The course is aligned to the Common European Framework and is available at 3 levels: Basic (A1 – A2), Intermediate (B1), and Advanced (B2 – C1) and includes both audio and video extracts.
How do you improve your listening with English Listening Practice?
Each listening section is carefully organised. Sometimes there are pre-listening tasks to prepare you for the listening. Other times, there are general listening exercises to help you focus on the general meaning of the listening before you start to listen for specific information. Each listening section always has a series of structured interactive exercises to make the listening comprehensible.
We include transcripts and subtitles for added assistance. You can also control the speed of the audio files.
At the end of the course, you will feel much more confident about your English listening skills.
What level can you study?
The course is available at three levels: Basic level (A1 – A2), Intermediate level (B1), Advanced level (B2 – C1).

How many study hours does each level include?
The basic (A1 – A2) level of Listening Practice contains more than 150 listening activities and more than 200 interactive English listening activities at the Intermediate (B1) and Advanced (B2 – C1) levels. This corresponds to approximately 20 hours of study time per level.
How much does it cost?
Each level costs 26 euros.
How long will you have access to your course?
You get access to a level of English Listening Practice for 12 months.
Will you get a certificate?
Yes, on completion of the course, you can download a certificate from the Net Languages platform.
