Structured Academic Progression

The General English and General Spanish course material is carefully aligned to the Common European Framework (CEFR) to assure a thorough progression through all relevant language features required for each level. Detailed Scope and Sequence documents are available for reference. The more skills-based courses are also curriculum aligned with the corresponding Scope and Sequence documents also available.

Assessment and Progress Tracking

All the Net Languages courses are CEFR level aligned and benchmarked against the most recognised official English-language and Spanish-language exams.

Speaking and Pronunciation Tools

In all our courses we stress the importance of speaking skills and intelligible pronunciation. To do this all students on the Net Languages educational platform have access to the Net Languages English pronunciation tool for practising English phonemes. Phonemes are demonstrated and practised in isolation, in words, in sentences, and in comparison to similar phonemes. In the General English course speech recognition exercises are included in every unit to practise features of pronunciation and English-speaking fluency. We also include speaking practice activities with our AI Chatbot, Sam. Speaking practice with Sam includes, roleplays, debates, descriptions, and more.

Grammar Reference

A comprehensive level-specific grammar reference is included with all courses. The grammar reference includes a detailed explanation and examples of all level-relevant grammar structures and features.

Interactive Learning Activities

In addition to the interactive learning activities and exercises included in the course materials, we also give all students access to a Fun and Games section with game-type English and Spanish-learning interactive activities. And students get access to a regular publication of interactive exercises at Basic, Intermediate and Advanced level called Interactive English and Español Interactivo.
